For me, the role of design is to serve, support and reinforce your message. After all, people come to your website for the content, not the design.
That is why I never use placeholder text in my designs, and why I never start designing before I have a well-formed idea of the company’s personality and what it wants to communicate. Your message needs to inform the design from the start.
Thanks to this approach – not to mention my empathic superpower – I always offer my clients a tailored and original design, which usually gets approved with little or no modification.
