Project
This project was a collaboration with Inboundr. Joining as the sole WordPress developer for the project, and considering the website size and requirements, this is definitely the most challenging feat I’ve taken on so far.
With a team of over 150 consultants in four worldwide offices, psd Group is a leader in international executive recruitment. As part of their rebranding project, they needed to develop a new website that would be easier for the marketing team to update and that would simplify the posting and research of new jobs.
Solution
Given the central role of the job board, we decided to start with a Job Board WordPress theme and then customize it via a child theme to fit the proposed design and the client’s specific requirements.
The result is a responsive, well-organised, easy-to-maintain, bilingual website of over 500 pages, based on a child WordPress theme which features:
- 3 custom post types
- 4 custom taxonomies
- filter functionality for one of the custom post types
- filter functionality for the job posts
- a 2-way integration between the client’s CRM and the WordPress job board for the publication of jobs via an XML feed.
